PATTERN 04 — HAIR STROKE · MACHINE

Nano Brows Course

the finest stroke, set by machine

Professional training in machine-made hair strokes: needle handling, depth control and fine layering, built on a measured brow map.

I — COURSE OVERVIEW

Machine, not blade

how nano differs from microblading

Nano brows create hair strokes with a cosmetic tattoo machine and a single fine needle instead of a hand-held blade. The pigment goes in as a line of tiny, closely placed dots, so the stroke looks crisp without the skin being cut.

This course teaches that method from the ground up. For the full technique background, read Nano Brows: Machine Hair Strokes Explained.

II — NANO AGAINST THE BLADE

PIECE A — HAND TOOL

Microblading

Hand-held blade opens a fine line in the skin

Pressure and angle come from the wrist

Hand-cut strokes can soften or blur as they heal on oilier skin

PIECE B — MACHINE

Nano brows

Single fine needle places pigment point by point

Depth depends on hand speed and needle control

Strokes can be layered for a softer, fuller look

III — WHO IT IS FOR & STRUCTURE

Who it is for, what it covers

and how the pattern is taught
This course suits beauty professionals adding machine brows to their services, stroke-trained artists moving from blade to machine, and newcomers who want to start with a machine method. If you are completely new to cosmetic tattooing, the Eyebrow Tattoo Course covers the foundations first.

Skills and techniques covered

PIECE 01  Machine set-up, needle choice and hand position

PIECE 02  Brow mapping and stroke pattern design

PIECE 03  Stroke direction, spacing and taper

IV — TRAINERS & STUDENT WORK

Taught hand over hand

Our trainers teach machine work the way a cutter teaches a pattern: showing it, measuring it and correcting your hand as you go. Read about their teaching approach on Our Trainers.

STUDENT WORK

Practice under guidance

Genuine, consented student work is published in the Student Work Gallery as it is added.

V — QUESTIONS

Nano brows, asked plainly

Do I need microblading experience first?

Prior brow experience may help, but it isn’t assumed. Share your background when you enquire and we’ll discuss which course fits.

Why learn nano instead of powder shading?

Nano builds brows from individual hair strokes, while shading builds a soft tone. Many artists learn both. Compare them in Powder & Ombre Brows: Shading Techniques Compared.

How long is the course and what does it cost?
