I — COURSE OVERVIEW

A course in the hand tool

and the hair it draws

Microblading uses a hand-held tool to place fine, crisp strokes that follow the way natural brow hair grows. There is no machine to set the pace. Your hand controls the depth, angle and rhythm of every line, and that is why this course starts with control before creativity.

The Microblading Course at Eyebrow Tattoo Courses Australia treats each brow like a fitted garment. You measure it, draft the pattern, then cut each stroke with purpose. For a longer look at the technique before you enquire, read Microblading Explained for Aspiring Artists.

WHO IT IS FOR

Newcomers to cosmetic tattooing who want to begin with hair-stroke brows

Beauty and brow professionals adding a hand-tool technique to their services

Artists planning a pathway towards combination brows or advanced training

II — SKILLS & TECHNIQUES

What you learn to cut

skills, pieces and pattern
Each skill is taught as a separate piece, then joined into a finished brow. The techniques build from single strokes to layered patterns that suit the client’s face, hair colour and brow density.
PIECE 01

Hand-tool control

How to hold the tool, how to set blade angle and pressure, and how to keep a steady stroke rhythm so each line heals clean and fine.
PIECE 02

Stroke direction

Reading natural hair flow through the head, body and tail of the brow, then matching stroke angle and curve to each zone.
PIECE 03

Pattern design

Planning stroke spacing, length and layering so the finished pattern looks full without crowding or blurring.
PIECE 04 — 05

Mapping and skin assessment

Measuring symmetry before any marking, and learning in general terms how skin type affects stroke results. Oily or very thin skin, for example, may call for a different technique.
III — COURSE STRUCTURE

Course structure

following the hair, stroke by stroke

The course moves in fitting order. First comes the foundation theory of skin, pigment and hygiene. Next is brow mapping, so every design starts from measurement. Then you practise strokes on practice skin until your control is consistent, and finally you refine your work with trainer guidance.

Stroke practice follows the three zones of the brow:

HEAD  Softer, more upright strokes where the brow begins

BODY  Strokes angle outward and layer towards the arch

TAIL  Finer strokes that follow the taper to the end

The training is hands-on and led by trainers, with close feedback on your stroke work at each stage. Duration, schedule and inclusions for each intake are confirmed when you enquire.

Questions

before you enrol
More answers are on the Eyebrow Tattoo Course FAQ.

Do I need cosmetic tattoo experience?

The course builds from foundations, so newcomers and working beauty professionals both take the same measured route. Tell us about your background when you enquire and we can talk through the best fit.

How is microblading different from feathering or nano brows?

All three create hair-stroke effects. Microblading uses a hand tool, feathering focuses on soft layered strokes, and nano brows are made with a machine. Our guide Choosing a Cosmetic Tattoo Course compares them side by side.

Does microblading suit every skin type?

Not always. Strokes can soften or spread on some skin types, so the course teaches you to assess the skin first and know when shading or a combination technique is the better choice.

What is included in the course?

Inclusions, dates and format details for each intake are set out when you enquire, so you can compare everything before you commit.
