PATTERN 03 — FEATHERED HAIR STROKE

Feathering Course

light strokes, cut to the brow

Hands-on training in feathered, hair-stroke-style brows: fine, tapered lines laid in the direction of natural growth, designed from a measured map rather than guesswork.

I — COURSE OVERVIEW

Where feathering sits

among the stroke patterns

Feathering describes the finished look as much as the method: soft, separated hair strokes that taper at each end, building a brow that reads as texture rather than a solid block of colour. The course focuses on that look, so the discipline is in stroke length, spacing and flow.

Read the Feathering Brows: Technique Guide before you enquire. It explains the terms used in this course.

PATTERN 02 — HAND TOOL

Microblading

Crisp strokes cut with a manual blade. Feathering borrows its stroke logic; the Microblading Course goes deeper into hand-tool control.
PATTERN 03 — THIS COURSE

Feathering

Light, tapered, layered strokes that give a brushed, natural finish. The emphasis is on pattern design and how strokes overlap without crowding.

PATTERN 04 — MACHINE

Nano strokes

Hair strokes placed with a machine and a fine needle. See the Nano Brows Course if you prefer a machine-led stroke.
II — WHO IT SUITS · WHAT YOU LEARN

Who it suits

and what goes into the pattern

The course suits people starting out in cosmetic tattooing who are drawn to natural, textured brows, and beauty professionals who want to add a hair-stroke service.

IV — QUESTIONS

Feathering FAQ

before you choose
More answers in the Eyebrow Tattoo Course FAQ.

Is feathering the same as microblading?

They overlap. Both create hair-stroke brows, and the terms are often used interchangeably. This course centres on the soft, layered feathered finish and the pattern design behind it.

Do I need previous brow experience?

Tell us about your background when you enquire so we can confirm fit. Choosing a Cosmetic Tattoo Course helps you weigh the options first.

Can I add shading later?

Yes. Stroke skills lead naturally into the Combination Brows Course, which pairs hair strokes with soft shading.

How do I find out duration and inclusions?

Send an enquiry through Enquire / Enrol or the contact form to ask about current course details.
